The bronze Eberle Lotus Fountain statue has been sent to the Tatti Art Conservation Studio in New York City for cleaning, structural assessment, surface restoration and repairs to the water functions. Conservancy Board Member, Arianne Kolb and Executive Director, Phoebe Knowles went for a studio visit to learn about the process. They were delighted to report that the 4 frogs at the base of the fountain are operational! Next step will be cleaning the surface and removing the calcifications and discolorations on the bronze followed by an application of protective wax. We expect her back at Waveny by the end of March, 2023.
