OAK TREE removal, repurposing and replacement
On September 23rd the dead 200 year old Great White Oak Tree that stood on the Sledding Hill at Waveny was taken down.
The tree wood will be dried and milled in order to create several heirloom and novelty products as well as some beautiful benches to be placed at Waveny Park.
On October 27th a new Oak Tree was planted at the site on the Sledding Hill overlooking Anderson Pond.
