Donation from Caffeine & Carburetors Car Show

Waveny Park Conservancy has received a generous donation from funds raised at the Caffeine & Carburetors antique and specialty car show held at Waveny Park on October 20th. The donation, in the amount of $24,000, will go towards large projects planned for 2025 and beyond such as woodlands restoration and improvements to the Merritt Parkway trail as well as on going maintenance. The Conservancy is extremely grateful to Doug Zumbach and his C&C team for making this popular community event for New Canaan into an opportunity to raise money for the Park. As Stephen Boeschenstein, the Conservancy’s board chair, says “each year we ideally want to raise up to $500,000 so a donation of this scale is very meaningful to us. And we’re very appreciative of Doug and his team working with us on this.”
