Our Park
Waveny Park is a 450 acre historic estate of parkland and woodlands that welcomes over 250,000 visitors annually. Designed by the Olmsted Brothers firm (sons of Frederick Law Olmsted who designed Central Park, NYC) the Park provides residents with a well-preserved haven of nature and open space for both physical and mental benefits.
The Park includes 3.5 miles of bucolic woodland trails, formal gardens, a peaceful pond as well as extensive lawns and meadows that are teeming with wildlife. Look out for deer, rabbits, extensive birdlife and the occasional coyote while the meadows attract a variety of butterflies, fireflies and other insects provide both physical and mental benefits to the local community.
