It’s been three years in the making! It has endured Covid, supply chain issues, exorbitant bids and construction delays, but the new Lower entrance to the fountain is finally here, completed. Designed by local landscape design firm, Kathryn Herman Design, the new entrance features a new brick wall to hide the dumpsters, an inviting patio and extensive plantings to welcome you. All that is missing are two oak benches that are currently being made from recycled wood from the pond oak tree that was felled, last year. There is something very gratifying about using wood from the park and we look forward to installing this final piece of the design. The days of dumpster dodging are over and we are extremely grateful to Tiger Mann and John Howe for all their hard work and judgment in getting the project completed at a reasonable cost.
